Labour Day Holiday – We are closed to the public on Monday, September 5th for Labour Day. If you have a regular Monday daycare visit please keep your pups at home that day!
September 10 to 18 – It is time for our personal break! We have mentioned these dates in our newsletters since January and we are excited the time has finally arrived! We are closed from Saturday, September 10 to Sunday, September 18 for all services. We re-open for regular business on Monday, September 19.
Charity Dog Wash – On Saturday, August 13 we held our 8th annual charity dog wash in support of Finding Them Homes and raised $2674 for the rescue! Thank you to all who joined in on the fun!
Barrie Business Awards – Nominations are open through the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Barrie Business Awards https://barriechamber.com/awards/ . Take a moment to submit your nominations for your favourite local businesses. We would appreciate if you took time to send something in for us. Thank you!

Christmas/New Years – Please make note when we are open/closed for the Christmas/New Years holidays:
- December 24 – open for regular business hours
- December 25, 26, 27 – closed
- December 28, 29, 30 – open for regular business hours
- December 31, January 1, 2 – closed
- January 3 onward – open for regular business hours
Precious Paws Bottle Drive – We have an ongoing fundraiser for Precious Paws Rescue. Please donate your bottles/cans that contained alcohol – all return money goes directly to the rescue!

Plan Ahead And Mark These Dates In Your Calendar – Please mark these dates in January 2023 that we will be closed for a short break:
- Thursday, January 12, 2023 – daycare services available; all boarding dogs to be picked up
- Friday, January 13 to Monday, January 16 – closed to the public. We re-open on Tuesday, January 17.
We will announce within each month’s newsletter all other dates through the year that we are closed.
